Spray the concrete stains with the soap solution. Make sure the surface is clean apply the rust remover or acid following the instructions and safety precautions on the bottle let it sit for five to 10 minutes then scrub and rinse. Get those unsightly grease oil and transmission fluid stains off your concrete driveway or garage floor. Leave the litter alone for at least an hour before sweeping or vacuuming it away.

If some oil still remains you can repeat the process as many times as needed. To remove stubborn rust stains from your concrete garage floor you can create a paste out of laundry detergent and baking soda. Make sure the detergent you use is ammonia free. Scrub the gray stain with a solution of 1 cup liquid chlorine bleach 1 cup powdered laundry detergent and 1 gallon of very hot water.

Wet the scrub brush with warm water and apply a few squirts of the soap to the bristles. Soak up as much as possible with paper towels. Mix flour and hydrogen peroxide to form a thick paste similar in consistency to peanut butter. Mix the ingredients and apply to the surface of the floor where the rust stain appears.

You also may use sawdust if you happen to have an ample supply around. For particularly stubborn stains rinse the acid away with a pressure washer. Let it settle for 5 10 minutes then scrub with a stiff. Use the soapy brush to scrub the baking soda into the stain until the stain is gone.

Don t rub the surface it will drive the stain further into the concrete. To remove pour one eighth of a cup of liquid dishwashing detergent into a spray bottle then top off the bottle with warm water and shake well. To start getting oil up out of your concrete with cat litter simply pour some of it over the stain and work it into the area by stepping on it or mashing it down another way. To make an easy cement floor cleaner apply a thick coating of the baking soda to the stained area of the concrete floor and let sit for approximately 30 minutes.

If the surface was just stained act quickly. Leave the baking soda paste on the stain for about an hour keeping it wet so that it doesn t harden. Mixing ammonia with bleach creates a lethal gas similar to mustard gas. Cover the stain with the paste in a layer that s about 1 4 inch thick.

Cover the stain with kitty litter or baby powder both which work as absorbents to draw the stain out of concrete. Cover the area with plastic wrap tack down the edges with masking tape and let the absorbent settle in for a full 24 hours. Porous concrete absorbs stains easily.
